Make stickers letters on cork stoppers

One of the things that I love is to create my own embellishments that I will then incorporate on my journals, unplanner or other projects.  Today I want to share with you this  great form to create letter stikers, which then you can use to form words. 

It's really simple and so easy to do!!

Cut little slices of the cork stoppers. Use letter stamps to stamp the cork. At the end in the back use double tape and you have great letter stikers. :) Ta da!!! Is that!! It's easy right?

Flowers embellishments

One of the things that i most love to do is my own embellishments. They are unique and personalized. Today I share with you this simply and beautiful flowers.

I used several papers, like papers from old books, brown paper, paper bags,newspaper, planner pages... Use what you want and have! 

I used a flower stamp that I carved, and which I love and use it a lot!! 

In some of the flowers I just stamped the paper. For others I wanted them colored, with some happy colors, remind me of spring. 

You can use, an variety of techniques, like watercolor, markers, pencils. Make some doodles before the stamp, color the flowers after stamped!! Well just have fun with the process. 

In the end you will have an assortment of colorful flowers that you can use on your art journals, scrapbooking pages, planners, whatever you like!!! :) 

ART Card - my process!

Today I want to share with you a little bit of my process on the making of a little Art Card from my Planner. This little art cards are, as the name suggests, little bits of art that you can add as embellishments to your art journals, planners or offer as a gift tag for instance. 

As they are little pieces you can make them in few minutes. They are great for you to make art every day even if you don't have much time for that.

 I started with a page where I add some scrap paint from cleaning the brushes from other projects!!

Add some strips of magazines and newspaper.

 Add some stokes of white and doodled a flower! I stamped some flowers in the corner and added some collages with leftover papers! (I collect almost  every bits of paper that left from other projects! They fit great in this little pieces of art don't you think? :))The important is to create texture and beautiful fused layers!!!

You can write some words, or quotes that inspires you.
For the final touches I add some stitches which i love and a little strip of ribbon.

Altered Note Books

Personalize your own sketchdooks or notebooks!! Is a great way to have unique and diferents books. 

Add some paints, stencils, collage paper, play with color and pattern. You can put some doodles and you have a great gift to give to friend or an wonderful and unique notebook for bring in your purse for take notes or have some sketches where ever you are!! :)

New year conffetis

The New Year is just around the corner. Now is time for the final preparations to receive him with great joy and hope for a much better year with lots of color and art through.

crumpled papers

One of the things that I mot love to do is my own papers for my collages, or art journals, or other craft projects. I really love to do this.
You can use lots of things to make singular papers and unique. And I like this, the fact that my papers will be unique!!
Sometimes i use stamps, other times I print them in a plastic sheet (because I don't have a gelli print plate!!), or make simple strokes with acrylics, or some scribbles...!!

In my experiences with printing my own paper I come out with a gorgeous technique that will surprise you and make wonderful and unique papers!!

Today I share with you my crumpled colored paper!! It easy and make papers awesome!! Even I get so surprise when I created this papers.

Uma das coisas que adoro fazer é criar os meus próprios papeis, para colocar nos meus art journals, nnas minhas colagens, ou noutros projetos.
São muitas as técnicas que se podem utilizar para criar papéis únicos, diferentes, que não vai encontrar em mais lado nenhum.
Uso várias coisas, como carimbos, tinta, impressão num marcador de mesa de plástico, etc.

Mas hoje o que vos trago é o resultado de uma experiência com impressão, e que deu em papeis lindos, com textura, muito diferentes.

I smashed some sheets of "esquiço" paper (a paper between a print paper and a vegetable paper), to create wrinkles.

Amassar o papel de forma a criar márias engelhas.

 Then, in a plastic sheet put acrylic paint with a brayer.

Num marcador de mesa de pla´stico colocar a tinta, o papel por cima e passar com o rolo.

 Put the sheet and role the brayer to add paint.

Add another color to have contrast and make more texture!

Passe uma outra cor contrastante. Irá aumentar a textura.

After it dries, open the paper and you will have beautiful wrinkles that don't have paint and will give the paper a gorgeous look!!

Depois de secar abra o papel. Vai ter um aspeto lindo, cheio de engelhas e veios criados pela tinta. Muita textura e contraste.

Use other colors! Be creative! Have fun!!
