Hello creatives!! Few days before my baby born I posted this page of my life documented journal and I said that I would post next day the tutorial for this flowers. But then my baby born and I had no longer the time to do that. So today I want to share with you finally how I do this beautiful coffee filter flowers.

I like to use kids markers and watercolors to add color to the coffee filters.
Paint on the coffe filters with the markers. Then spray water to de paint and the paint starts to spread and blend and that makes beautiful combinations and efects.

You can do the same with watercolors.

After it drys I draw flowers and cut them. Vary the shapes and form of them.
You can do a bunch of them and them have prepared when you need to embellish some pages

Life Documenting - Art Journal Vol. 2

Hey, Creative friend!
heArt makes has a new home!!!
Just check my new site for more inspiration!!

My first Art Journal for Life Documented has finished so I made another one, with more pages so i can document during more months.
This is my first art journal. Is totally yammy and fat with happy colors, so many memories!! :)

In this second journal I use one paper bag that I painted last year and was hanging on my wall during a long time.
But now I wanted to use it for another thing. So i thought on use it for the cover of my Journal. I created the cover with card stock from cereal boxes and stitched three signatures of white paper. Loved the result.

Painted masking tape

Hi friends!!  Last week I show you one of my pages from my art journal for Life Documented.
The borders with flowers are painted masking tape that i made my own. This process is not new, but I love it and today I want to share with you my process. I did different masking tapes with flowers, because the theme this month is bloom, but you can draw anything. It's fun and unique.

Place the masking tape in a plastic. I reuse the plastics of the cereals.
Paint with watercolor. Use the colors that you like most. Have fun.

Draw or doodle the flowers. Don't worry on being perfect. Just doodle some flowers. Doodle different shapes. You will get beautiful and different washi tapes to incorporate in your art journals or other crafts.

Life Documented - Week 10

Hello!! Another week is at the end and another challenge on life documented for week 10. We started another month, the month of spring, so we start to think on flowers, color, hot, sun!!! Is my favorite season!
This week prompt arrived from Geraldine and she suggested "secret garden" as prompt for this week. The monthly theme is bloom!

I made my secret garden on the march divider.  Lots of color, mark making and lots of flowers.
As I told you before, since last year documented life project I lived to do the PAC's, little pocket art cards. So this year I continue doing them. This week I made another one, thinking on flowers and i will share with you my process in the next post.

This is my interpretation and work for this week prompt.

Paper flowers wreath

Last week i share with you how i made this stamped paper flowers  with a flower stamp and a variety of backgrounds that make them colored. I use them as embellishments to my Unplanner and art journals, but they are very cute and you can use them in other projects too!
Today I want to share with you this easy but funny project. A wreath with those cute little flowers. I used cardboard to make a circle for the wreath, then glued the flowers. Use an assortment of different papers and colors. That will give texture and happiness to your wreath.

Pocket Art Card... my process

For my first PAC for March I made some washes of watercolor and then add some splatters with isoplopilic alcool. It gives beautiful withe dots in between the watercolors.
I used the splatter paper to do the centers of my flowers. Doodled the flowers and add some marks.

Colei no cartão e desenhei as flores. Para finalizar fiz umas marcas. São os retoques finais. :)
