This week on Life Documented the prompt was suggested by Kristi (aka @soul-positive). She suggested us to create a Tag and use found words.
I did mine with a background of acrylic paint and collage paper from an old dictionary. Then I use the words "amour" and "bébé" from an old French/Portuguese dictionary. I add doodles and marks and stitches on my tag. At the end I stitch a beautiful embellishment that I make. I loved to do it. Now I'm working in the rest of spread for the week on my journal.

Hi friends!

Today I want to share with you the PAC (ATC) that I did for life documented week 12 as i was the guest this week.
I made the ATC as is usual and made a little tag where I wrote the quote that I choose for this week.
The prompt that I choose for this week was doodle or draw Bloom Mandalas. So I use the mandalas that I show you on yesterday post.

The technique that I suggest was play with washes and drip of watercolor. So again I play with washes of watercolors.

1. Wet the cards and then add washes of watercolor.
2. Add marks with bubble plastic. After it drys the dots marks will remain.

3. Collage half of one mandala ( i love to add my drawings to my mixed media work)

 4. Doodle some flowers ( we are playing with bloom mandalas and flowers)
5. Add some white paint
6. I use acrylic paint to add some color to my flowers. I add also some fluorescent pink to the background.
7. Add marks to the card. I use acrylic paint and pens.

8. To finish I add some stitches to my card.(You know how I love that!!!) I really love the result of that marks on the card.

For the little tag I use the same technique that I use on the PAC.

1. Glue on the top of the tag half of one mandala

2. Add more color and some marks

3. Stitch all around the card

4. I wrote the quote on the little tag.

Life Documented - PAC my process

As I told you today I thought share with you my process to make my PAC (pocket art card) for Life Documented - week 10.
I really love to do this little art cards. In little space you can experiment, try new techniques, collage, doodle, sew, draw, well, almost everything in a little piece of paper and in short time.
This month theme is bloom, so i draw some flowers and used a technique with watercolors and isopropyl alcohol. This is a very fun technique. Um add some washes of watercolor to you paper and then with another brush you add some isopropyl alcohol. Because his proprieties the watercolor is going to spread, turn that space more white, and you will have a beautiful effect.
If you didn't try you will want too for sure. Is very fun.

1. Wet down the surface of the card with water. Then add watercolors.

2. I draw the shape of two flowers with the watercolors. After this with another brush add drops of isopropyl alcohol and see the changes on you watercolor. Is beautiful.

3. With a black pen doodle the flowers

4. With acrylic paint add more color to the card

5. Time to add marks, lots of marks to the card. I love to do marks, it gives another strength to my works, that i love.

6. Sew parts of the card to give it texture.

Hope you like it and have some fun with this technique. I would love to know if you like to do this little art cards. When do you do them?

Want to see more of my others pocket art cards process? Since last year with DLP project I make them and share many of my process.

LD week 8 - PAC my process

PAC - prompt: use under paper

As I told you yesterday I will share with you my process on the PAC for week 8. The prompt  was to use scrap paper or under paper. So I use my under paper. Almost all the time I have on my table as under paper sheets of vegetable paper ( like baking paper). All the scraps of paint, stencils or stamps will go there. At the end I have a mixture of things and color on that paper that is just delicious!!!
I had also a little scrap of paper that already had a stitch on it. So I use it for my PAC.

1. Round the corners of my card

2. Choose one interesting part of the under paper and glue on the card

3. Add some paint to cover those blank parts
(first i use a fluorescent orange and then a fluorescent pink)

4. Make marks with pens and pencils

5. To add more texture sew more your card.

Hope you like and get some inspiration!

Valentine Tags

Hi hello friends! Wish you a great valentine day here from Portugal. Today I want to share with you these two little valentine tags that i made to put on my unplanner this week, celebrating Valentine.
They are really simple to do and I think they get lovely.

I collect all those tags that came with clothes. I really love to repurpose and some of the tags are lovely . This are  two blank tags made of hard cardstock and I use them for my valentine tags. Of course you can use whatever you have in yours tags stash.
I have some printed or stamped fabric that I painted my own and sometimes I like to use instead of paper. It gives another texture. In this case I used a stamped fabric

1. Glue painted fabric to your tag

2. Use some stamps. I used two of my hand carved stamps to had some marks and embellishments.

3. Write a word that is important to you and represents this day. Add some more marks to your tag.

4. If you want put a ribbon attach to your tag.

In week 6 of documented life 2017 the prompt was: To create a page using layers - as many as you can/wish! and the quote was ‘I love layers’
Last year one of the things that i most loved to do on my unplanner where this little pocket art cards. They are small size cards that we can easily do art in and i always love the result. So this year i decided to continue doing them for my unplanner. And time to time I like to share my process.
I hope that this little cards can inspire you and loved to see yours too.

2 - Select some papers to collage
3 - Glue the papers and add some marks
