easy and fun masks for carnival

We are nearing the Carnival and it is time to think of disguises and have fun with the children to create carnival masks!

Today I leave you an idea of funny masks that we did last year and I had even been published on my other blog: "Mario and Omelete". But we enjoyed so much this activity and I think that is so current and can be an inspiration for someone else that i dicided to publish again! 

Estamos a chegar ao Carnaval e está na altura de pensar em disfarces e em nos divertirmos com as crianças a criar máscaras de carnaval!

Hoje deixo-vos uma brincadeira que fizemos no ano passado e que eu até já tinha publicado no meu outro blog: "Mário e Omelete", Mas como gostei tanto da atividade e acho que está tão atual e pode servir de inpiração para mais alguém, aqui fica de novo o nosso processo!

wood little houses

You know how I like a beautiful and easy craft projects. 

I had around here small pieces of wood,those that come with canvas and did not serve me for nothing because don't use them in canvas. I thought that would be a cute project if I build some cute little wood houses.

Sabem como eu gosto de um bonito e rápido projeto de craft. Tinha aqui em casa umas embalagens de pequenas peças de madeira daquelas que vêm com as telas e que não me serviam para nada pois não as usava nos quadros. Lembrei-me de construir pequenas casas em madeira.

Glue two halves of wood with UHU glue and paint with acrylic paint in the colors that mean more to you.

Colei duas metades com cola UHU e pintei com tinta acrílica com cores variadas.

After dry I used black marker and drew the houses. Use your imagination!. Here kids can help. With their hands should be pretty well.

Depois de secas, usei marcador preto e desenhei as casa. Aqui tmabém os pequenos podem ajudar. Com a mão deles devem ficar tmabém bem bonitas.

I used them in two ways. in some of them I glued a magnet and became part of our fridge to attach drawings, notes or reminders!

Lembrei-me de as usar de duas maneiras. Numas colei um íman e passaram a fazer parte do nosso frigorífico para prender desenhos, notas ou lembretes!

And the others will be beautiful embellishments to my unplanner. You can use them  in scrapbooking to!

As restantes guardei-as e vão ser usadas para embelesar algumas páginas do meu UnPlanner ou para Scrapbooking.
É muito fácil de fazer e fica uma ideia muito gira.

New year conffetis

The New Year is just around the corner. Now is time for the final preparations to receive him with great joy and hope for a much better year with lots of color and art through.

I leave an idea of confetti to celebrate the arrival of New Year 2016 !!!

washi tape watercolor fall bracelets

From time to time I like to play with the materials, experiment and invent. Give free rein to creativity and create things with unexpected materials.
This time I share with you some bracelets made with adhesive tape used by painters to line footers, and inspired in the fall palette colors !!!


De vês em quando gosto de brincar com os materiais experimentar e inventar. Dar asas à criatividade e criar coisas com materiais inesperados.
Desta vez partilho convosco umas pulsairas feitas com fita cola usada pelos pintores para forrar os rodapés e inspiradas na paleta de cores do outono.

I gave some strokes with watercolors.

 Umas pinceladas com aguarelas.

 I put jewelery wire inside and closed in half the glue tape.

Usei arame de bijuteria, para colocar dentro da fita, para dar a forma de bracelete.

Give some texture using some stamps!

Usei alguns dos meus carmbos para dar texturas engraçadas.

Give them the form of bracelet and there you have a fun-filled bracelets.

Dê-lhe a forma de pulseira e aí estão!  Umas pulseiras divertidas e súper simples de fazer.


Some Tips  /  Dicas

Use contrasting fun colors. You can add glitter in different colors, have some doodles.
The children will love this activity !!!


Use cores contrastantes, divertidas. Pode adicionar glitter.
As crianças, vão adorar esta atividade!!!

inspired by nature ...sea urchins

Para mim a natureza tem um poder inexplicável. É para mim uma fonte de energia, de luz, de alegria. Uma fonte de inspiração. Dela viemos e nela devemos estar sempre ligados, por mais que seja a tecnologia a que nos vamos ligando. É a base, o fio condutor. Por tudo isto é muito importante para mim, passear junto dela. Seja praia, bosque, montanha, neve, jardim, o importante é manter a ligação. Vê-la, inspirá-la, beber de toda a inspiração que emana.

Cá em casa sempre que podemos, escapamo-nos para junto daquilo que não foi o Homem a construir. Aí vou buscar energia e inspiração.

Trago-vo uma atividade que fizemos em família, depois de um passio na praia. Recriar ouriços do mar. 

For me nature has an inexplicable power. It is for me a source of energy, light and joy. A source of inspiration. We must always be connected. It is the basis, the common thread. It’s really important to me be near her. In the beach, forest, mountain, snow, garden, the important thing is to maintain the connection. Seeing her, inspire her, drinking all the inspiration emanating.

Here at home whenever we can, we go along what was not the man to build. Then I will get energy and inspiration.

I bring you an activity we did as a family, after a walk on the beach. Recreate urchins from the sea.

Com lápis de pastel de óleo coloridos fizemos a base. Por cima pintamos com pastel de óleo preto. 

With colorful oil pastel pencils we made the base. Painted over with black oil pastel.

Com a ajuda de uma pinça, fomos raspando os espinhos do ouriço e foi aparecendo a cor. 

With the help of tweezers, we were scraping the sea urchin spines and the was appearing .

Ficaram ouriços lindos. Lindos para impressão numa t-shirt. Criatividade em acção. Tempo em familia de qualidade e diversão total. 

They were beautiful urchins. Beautiful, for printing on a T-shirt. Creativity in action. Quality time for family and overall fun.
